Sunday starts a new week

It feels like I've not blogged anything in forever when only it's been a few days. Since starting this medication I've become like really sleepy. Not sure if this will pass or what but, holy crap I could sleep the days away. Not that I can because I got all these little love bugs around here. Vern's been working the 50th Air Show here this weekend and the weather has been like really weird. REALLY windy and a lot cooler than it has been. Like in the low 70's. When two weeks ago it was up in the 80's it feels cold. So Vern took Thomas with him to "work" today. So he should be able to see the whole show! He's really excited to see the Jet Truck (semi) they have there. Apparently it has jet engines and goes 375+ miles an hour.

Thomas had a good week in school aside from the "G". He said that he passed this weeks spelling test. Last week he misspelled DAY instead of 'Y' he put 'G'. His reading teacher called and we talked about him possibly memorizing the books that they read in her class. He brings those books home and knows them word for word. Well with the exception of THE. She wants him to be able to know sight words and will be sending home some cards that he can look at and get to know. He'll be in this program for 20 weeks at most. He goes everyday for 30 minutes. Next week they start actual lessons and we should start seeing an improvement with everything soon. Everyone knows that he is extremely smart. I'm going to go in and watch one of these lessons in a few weeks to see what we can do at home to help him other than what we have been doing.

Oodie goes to the Dr. on Tuesday so hopefully we will know what is causing his crying fits after he eats as well as his poor little body stiffening up along with it. I'm thinking reflux ... ? We'll see. It just seems like he crys 24/7, last night he was laying on his back playing with the kids and started to get fussy. I flipped him over and he played like that for a bit before he passed out. lol. I guess it helped his little tummy. Hopefully he'll be rolling over soon. We'll be getting his crib in a few weeks! :)
