Holden went in for his two month check up yesterday. He has mild reflux, a cyst on his upper gum, and is constipated. YAY US. Anyway for the reflux the Dr. wants us to put in an ounce of rice with this formula and have him upright for 30 minutes after feeding. Ok not a big deal. As for the cyst it's going to go away with time, it's really small about the size of a pin head. And for the constipation ounce apple juice to an ounce of water 3-4 times a day. Poor baby got three shots and a mouth something or other ... Vern took him so I don't really know. He weighs just about 14 pounds, and daddy can't remember if it's 24 or 26 inches. This kid is all legs and arms.
I have an appointment tomorrow with someone and I'll let you know how that goes. I also go in on the 22ond of next month to see a Dr. about my prescription. I really feel like I've lost it, having to go and see someone because I can't get a grip on my emotions.
Tonight Thomas and Vern will be going to a cub scout meeting. Thomas brought home a paper about it and apparently the guy told him to put it IN the refrigerator. He wont let me take it out, and if it does come out he puts it back in. So he's pretty excited. Tomorrow is Kaitlynn's parents night. I'm going to this with her and she's equally excited. That's really all that's new. I haven't been on the computer lately, because I just don't feel like it. blah. Anyway that's all. : )

Sunday starts a new week
It feels like I've not blogged anything in forever when only it's been a few days. Since starting this medication I've become like really sleepy. Not sure if this will pass or what but, holy crap I could sleep the days away. Not that I can because I got all these little love bugs around here. Vern's been working the 50th Air Show here this weekend and the weather has been like really weird. REALLY windy and a lot cooler than it has been. Like in the low 70's. When two weeks ago it was up in the 80's it feels cold. So Vern took Thomas with him to "work" today. So he should be able to see the whole show! He's really excited to see the Jet Truck (semi) they have there. Apparently it has jet engines and goes 375+ miles an hour.
Thomas had a good week in school aside from the "G". He said that he passed this weeks spelling test. Last week he misspelled DAY instead of 'Y' he put 'G'. His reading teacher called and we talked about him possibly memorizing the books that they read in her class. He brings those books home and knows them word for word. Well with the exception of THE. She wants him to be able to know sight words and will be sending home some cards that he can look at and get to know. He'll be in this program for 20 weeks at most. He goes everyday for 30 minutes. Next week they start actual lessons and we should start seeing an improvement with everything soon. Everyone knows that he is extremely smart. I'm going to go in and watch one of these lessons in a few weeks to see what we can do at home to help him other than what we have been doing.
Oodie goes to the Dr. on Tuesday so hopefully we will know what is causing his crying fits after he eats as well as his poor little body stiffening up along with it. I'm thinking reflux ... ? We'll see. It just seems like he crys 24/7, last night he was laying on his back playing with the kids and started to get fussy. I flipped him over and he played like that for a bit before he passed out. lol. I guess it helped his little tummy. Hopefully he'll be rolling over soon. We'll be getting his crib in a few weeks! :)

And the Dr. says?
Well today was my check up. All was going well until I walked into the office. All of a sudden I really didn't want to be there and had Vern not dropped me off so he could run and get him and the boy something to eat I prolly would have never showed up. I have no idea why. I checked in and my BP was high ... they didn't say anything but, from when I was pregnant it was way lower than it was today. Apparently still in normal range. I've not gained or lost any weight since last Monday when I went to the other appt. I had to fill out all the postpartum paper work and a depression questionnaire. Then waited for a freaking long ass time. After that she came in the room and I started to cry. Seriously I have no idea why. Oh wait cause I am having issues! She asks how I'm doing and handling having a new member to our family. All that sort of stuff. Then we start talking about me maybe having PPD and getting something to treat it. We decided that I will be put on Zoloft because I'm still breastfeeding. I have the number to the psychiatric clinic and am waiting for them to call me back so that we can reassess the mg that she started me on. Hopefully they will call in the morning. I also really hope that this medicine works and I'll stop being a emotionalmoodswingin'bitch. : )
Today Kaitlynn brought home a freaking paper that says we owe the school 33.00 for lunch. Can you believe this shit. I got the letter in the mail that Thomas will receive free lunch. So I assumed that she would too because, his name was on her lunch from! Yeah, we never got a letter about her and the chick didn't answer. (this didn't help my day at all) Sooo I refuse to send any money because I know that she should get free lunch like Thomas. Last year he got reduced, and now that she is in school and we have Oodie, we qualify for it. And I'm not going to pay this crap.
Thomas did his homework pretty good today. Minimal complaint. I looked at his behavior chart though and he got a sticker in his first class and a "G" in the PM. "G" means that he needed to be reminded that they should not be playing outside of the class room. So I am assuming that he was playing around while he was on his way somewhere and had to be reminded the three times that they are before you get a colored stick. He gets pissed off because I want him to learn for this stuff and he wasn't allowed outside today. We'll see how he does tomorrow. He's allowed to play his beloved games but, he's up my butt for everything every five minutes. Time to get them in the shower and all that funky stuff. : )

Are you serious?
Ok Holden was up bright or as bright as it is at 4 in the morning. I tried everything to get him to stop crying. I couldn't help him with whatever his problem was. So I got out of bed, and came down stairs. Cried the whole time. He's been pretty whiny all day, or at least it seems like he has because this day went incredibly fast. So today I'm pretty emotional when it comes to that and I've been pretty bitchy because of god knows what over the past few days. Thank goodness my appointment is tomorrow hopefully my Dr. will give me something for this PPD. This is what I get for always joking about people that need "happy pills". Yeah, that was smart.
Thomas did well with his homework today. Had to write his spelling words again the circle and underline the vowels & consonants. F or math he had to write things from around the house that has dates. Then write 1-6 as well as count by twos to 20 and 5 & 10's to 100. Again had to read the three short books he brought home. I'm so proud of him, he's only gotten one OK since school started. Pretty good for having to change classes, :) Anyway fried chicken for dinner so I better get started.

Oh what a day
Today has been a day of ... well there is no words to describe what today has been. As it seems I have apparently acted out unkindly. Yeah, I know right? Anyway I've decided that it is totally not worth my time to play childish games with people. Even though I feel the way that I do I'm past it all. Whatever. I'm sure that I'll still be a psycho forever. One can only wish. So with all that and Oodie crying, Jo putting things down the toilet (yes again!) I'm in no mood for other people's BS ... See picture above.
Thomas brought home all of this weeks homework. Fun. The poor kid has to sit there for like two hours, because he wont pay any attention to anything. He gets ten spelling words per week and has to do different things with them everyday. Today it was rhyming. I tried to explain this the best that I could but, he thought that we were making sentences. Finally we found what works best for us and that was to ask what someone did with the word that rhymed with the spelling word. For instance, look ... what does mommy do every night? we asked him. Cook. So he got it after that. He's now in a special program for reading. Everyday for 30 minutes he'll go with a special reading teacher who will allow him to pick out books that he would like to read, they will write words on a chalk board and write a sentence cut it up and bring it home to put it back together. Along with reading a book every day after homework. So yeah, 10 spelling words, 1 math sheet and now reading a short book. If he would sit there and pay attention and not talk about ... VIEDO games he would be done in about 45 minutes. We're working on all of this to make it eaiser for him.
So far Kait has brought home her extra clothes and sheet four times since school has started. This means that she's had some sort of ... loss? And has had to change. Though she doesn't get into trouble it's starting to get on my nerves. Why can't she remember to go to the potty to pee. We had a talk today about this and of course her big brother wouldn't be a big brother unless he made fun of her. ::sigh:: Anyway hopefully she wont do this again for a while.
Soo it's also Monday! This means that each Monday I'll post photo edits that I've done from the week before. I love taking and editing the pictures that I take. Great stress relief and wonderful "me time" Soo bring on the funky music ... here are the edits for the week of Sept 7th.

Sunglasses, Turkey and Dye

Soooo, today I found the sunglasses that we bought Oodie from this flea market thing that was in front of the base on Saturday. It was awesome didn't know it was there until we drove up on it. Anyway here is the picture of him in them. I love it ... They are waaaaaaaay to funny. Thomas and Kait just love it when he has them on and are like where are mine?! Jo is silly about it.
As for the Turkey, well today I went grocery shopping. I was shocked that I spend way less than my "planned" budget. Anyway I bought ground turkey instead of regular old hamburger meat. 1. it's apparently better for you.
2. it's like waaay cheaper than regular meat.
So we tried it today when Vern made chili. He said it was really good and I was happy that I didn't have to drain the meat! Sooo lets hope that this helps with us to loose weight. Along with other things.
Dye. Yeah. Well I wanted to get the dark hair on top ... like dark brown with darkish red under
neeth. Well it's lookin' like all one color! Soooo, hopefully maybe it will lighten up and I wont have to go back to Sally's and get a brighter red. I love the look of it and want it done. Needless to say it's not what I want so I'm sure that I'll be going back.
