Thank you iStockphoto!Today has been a day of ... well there is no words to describe what today has been. As it seems I have apparently acted out unkindly. Yeah, I know right? Anyway I've decided that it is totally not worth my time to play childish games with people. Even though I feel the way that I do I'm past it all. Whatever. I'm sure that I'll still be a psycho forever. One can only wish. So with all that and Oodie crying, Jo putting things down the toilet (yes again!) I'm in no mood for other people's BS ... Thomas brought home all of this weeks homework. Fun. The poor kid has to sit there for like two hours, because he wont pay any attention to anything. He gets ten spelling words per week and has to do different things with them everyday. Today it was rhyming. I tried to explain this the best that I could but, he thought that we were making sentences. Finally we found what works best for us and that was to ask what someone did with the word that rhymed with the spelling word. For instance, look ... what does mommy do every night? we asked him. Cook. So he got it after that. He's now in a special program for reading. Everyday for 30 minutes he'll go with a special reading teacher who will allow him to pick out books that he would like to read, they will write words on a chalk board and write a sentence cut it up and bring it home to put it back together. Along with reading a book every day after homework. So yeah, 10 spelling words, 1 math sheet and now reading a short book. If he would sit there and pay attention and not talk about ... VIEDO games he would be done in about 45 minutes. We're working on all of this to make it eaiser for him.
So far Kait has brought home her extra clothes and sheet four times since school has started. This means that she's had some sort of ... loss? And has had to change. Though she doesn't get into trouble it's starting to get on my nerves. Why can't she remember to go to the potty to pee. We had a talk today about this and of course her big brother wouldn't be a big brother unless he made fun of her. ::sigh:: Anyway hopefully she wont do this again for a while.
Soo it's also Monday! This means that each Monday I'll post photo edits that I've done from the week before. I love taking and editing the pictures that I take. Great stress relief and wonderful "me time" Soo bring on the funky music ... here are the edits for the week of Sept 7th.
